Terms and Conditions

  1. You agree to pay the full amount listed in this quotation at the time that the listed services are performed.
  2. The standard quote is based on installation. That includes copper pipework from the cold tank inlet to the hot water outlet on the storage tank and associated connections. A maximum of 3 meters of electrical cable is also included. Standard Installation does not include any relocation, electrical or plumbing upgrades if required, unless outlined in this quote.
  3. Esena Energy agrees to perform only those services listed in the scope of work in this hot water quotation as identified at the time of the site inspection. Any additional work or materials will require an addendum and will incur additional costs to the end customer.
  4. As the law allows, you will indemnify Esena Energy and keep Esena Energy indemnified from and against any liability and any loss or damage Esena Energy may sustain, as a result of any breach, act or omission, arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with any breach of any of these Terms and Conditions by the Customer or its representatives.
  5. All equipment supplied and installed by Esena Energy, or its Contractors, remains the property of Esena Energy until all monies outstanding to Esena Energy in connection with this installation have been paid. Payment is required on completion of the installation. An invoice will be sent out on completion, once received payment is required within 24 business hours. Additional charges may apply if payment is not received within 24 hours of completed installation. Additional charges include but are not limited to, legal and debt collection costs.
  6. Esena Energy is considered an independent contractor under the scope of this hot water quotation.
  7. You agree to provide Esena Energy’s installation team with sufficient access to the property where services are being performed on the date that work is scheduled.
  8. This quotation is based on the information provided by the customer regarding the installation of the heat pump unit. Actual costs may change onsite, and the customer will be notified prior to any work being performed. Please note: A service fee of 15% of cost may be charged if the customer cancels the order or installation less than 7 business days prior to call out.
  9. Where the installation cannot occur due to inaccessibility, no show (no- one home), no access, a call-out fee of $220.00 will be invoiced for the installation team’s time to re-attend.
  10. Failure to notify Esena Energy of the presence of any safety hazards on the property including and not limited to asbestos may incur a charge.
  11. The area where the installation is occurring requires to be cleared of any obstacles prior to installation. Should the area not be cleared, and our installers are required to move items, whilst all duty of care will be taken, Esena Energy will not be liable for any damages that may occur and a minimal cost may be charged.
  12. The customer acknowledges that pricing is based on the eligibility of any of the following rebate incentives that may be available, VEECs, STCs and Victoria Solar Homes Rebates Initiatives. Should the customer not be eligible for the said incentives then the customer is financially responsible for covering the difference in costs where the rebate is not applicable.
  13. I acknowledge and agree that ESENA Energy is not responsible for any re-painting, patching, or plastering of previous fittings due to the installation of new or smaller fittings, along with repairing any existing electrical or physical faults, and that the electrician may refuse to conduct the installation.
  14. All relevant documentation requested by Esena Energy must be sent & filled out for any rebate claims to be submitted, failure to do so will incur the total cost of the upgrade to be paid in full as the rebates will not apply.
